about

Vincent's Stars is a bit of an experiment. Fae had this melody knocking from the other side of her forehead for awhile and, soon after she had finished reading Vincent's letters to Theo, she was compelled to put this tune to paper. She was moved by how optimistic Van Gogh was about the world. He held on to great beauty and the simplest of thing would bring him joy. It's very curious that the world seems to almost always associate him with his dark times first.... "wasn't he the painter that cut off his ear?". Perhaps that's a hard story to shake... But without darkness, there is no light.

It's a true demo with a voice crack and all. The harmonics on the guitar needed to be raised in level but we think you can get a feel of the song.
