about

This song was written in 2018 as an entry for the Jane Titland Memorial Songwriting contest sponsored by the Tumbleweed Music Festival in Richland, WA.
The theme for the contest was "Roots". Fae decided to write an antithesis song, capturing freedom and having "no roots". The song received the Audience Choice Award and Second Place in August 2018.
